Weird ads on flyertalk? NSFW?

Ad on Flyertalk??

Why do I get ads like this on flyertalk on the top banner. All the other ads around the page are travel related, but I get these really odd ads? I’ve never clicked on them, and I’m not even sure what most of things are, and I have a pretty good imagination.

A cat ‘bouncer’?

Do other people get these?

Not those. I’ve never before seen any of that before you posted the image. And now I guess I should consider myself less sheltered after seeing that.

The ad supplier for FT and/or browser may be providing you with targeted advertisements based on your IP address and/or IP address/browser/device browsing history.

Were you logged into FT with your FT membership credentials when you saw those ads?

If you google "Temu ads everywhere" you'll see that in the last 6 months or so these ads have been appearing across the web. A lot of the images look as if they could be selling suggestive products, but those brave enough to click through usually find the products are actually fairly innocuous.

Yeah, Temu has been on a big advertising push lately it seems. And they indeed have some weird things at times. That said, the cat thing is apparently a grooming sling (at least in the description I've seen). That said, I'm not sure I've known too many cats that would be willing to put up with that very long.
