Is Sri Lanka blocking FT?

Recently in Sri Lank and was unable to access the FlyerTalk website.
Android, Chrome, Dialog internet connection.

The error coded reported by Dialog was 1020...
error 1020: Access denied means that you have violated firewall rules and your connection request has been blocked.

Connection did work in Thailand (and Australia)

Can you make be happy when to Sri Lanka I go wandering (again)

Sri Lanka is not blocking FT.

FT and/or Cloudflare were/are blocking FT from the IP address you were attempting to use in Sri Lanka. If you still have the RAYID hash that showed up with the 1020, providing the rayid to FT/IB Admins would help them discern what was happening and perhaps re-evaluate whether the IP address was/is/should be blacklisted or not.

Hi Fred

I am in Sri Lanka at the moment, and I have experienced the same problem, but only when I was in one place

Negombo Beach - all OK, no access problem

Negombo Town - "Access Denied" - on both my devices (Windows/Edge PC & Android/Chrome Smartphone), and when connected to 3 different Wi-Fi networks (my hotel and two restaurants)

Galle - all OK, no access problem (where I am currently)

ps Did our paths cross? (I've been in SL since the end of Sept and was in Thailand for the month before that.)

I was there 09 to 13 Oct. Visiting friends in a village just off the Kandy road
While there -no wandering

Access blocked for me everywhere on Sri Lanka so far without VPN. Both hotel WiFi and local sim (Dialog), 5 different locations, including Colombo. It just does not make any sense.
