How do I really see my notifications?

How do I really see my notifications?
The bell has a '3' by it, I click and the menu opens up, I see a 2 in inbox and 1 in quote, but when I click quote it takes me to my homepage and I can't see what quote I may have been posted on, perhaps I'm using it wrong but can someone guide me?

Edit: I'll just add, my 'homepage' (https://www.flyertalk.com/forum/members/tprun.html?tab=mentions#mentions) mentions only show three from 2020 - I've definitely been mentioned more as I've scrolled past it in forums and stumbled upon them :-)
