Also, what's with the "disabling your AdBlocker" and "accept cookies" again and again and again? David |

I know we did a minor update with the cookie message. Are you getting it on every page? Are you incognito/private browsing? Testing photo upload below:
https://cimg4.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...8e4b01917.jpeg I am not in incognito mode but still am unable to use either the Manage Attachments / Upload and the resulting popup to either upload images or even have it load an image from a web link. When pasting in the link and then hitting enter, the resulting error message is: vBulletin Message Your submission could not be processed because a security token was missing. If this occurred unexpectedly, please inform the administrator and describe the action you performed before you received this error. |
It has now worked two out of three attempts. It’s just one thread that’s jinxed. I suppose I can avoid that one for now.

Nope, uploading is broken for me. I can click on the picture icon (the one that's a rectangle with a circle in the upper left and sort of mountains at the bottom). However on the ensuing dialog I usually click on "From Your Device" but that button is dead. So is "Take A Photo". "From Your Albums" seems to work.
Hilariously the "Cancel" button is broken and does not work to exit the dialog, nor does hitting the ESC key, but clicking in the main browser window works. |

David Follow up - not working either with Firefox or even with IE. Can't even login to FT - hitting the login button doesn't work either. David |
Hi,
Having a similar problem. I am unable to download pictures to My Album. It did work about a month ago. I played around My Album little and noticed that if I tried to delete the picture in My Album, it does not delete. Anybody has any clue? |

Do you get an error message? Or does it do nothing? Or does it say it's deleted, but it really isn't?
P.S. I tried on Chrome and Microsoft Edge. I tried on my work computer and on my personal computer. All situations same, unable to upload pictures into My Album and unable to delete pictures. |

Still not working for me, but perhaps it is a different problem. See the attached image. Note that I had to add this to My Flyertalk picture album to share the link here. But using the manage attachments no longer works.
The screengrab below shows the "manage attachments" pop up screen. I chose the image I wanted to upload, and the image actually displays next to the filename. That means the Flyertalk website is correctly displaying the image. But when I click the upload button, it always fails. I have also tried this with jpeg and gif file formats. Interestingly, with the original image which was png, I got a different error. It said the file was not in Jpeg format! I have tried multiple browsers and multiple OS's, multiple PC's and iPhone's. https://cimg2.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...a1ac24b483.png |

You're using the wrong uploader. In your MyFlyerTalk, go to options and make sure you are using the Full CKEditor (save at the bottom of the page). Then click the "postcard" icon (looks like the moon over some mountains) and you should be all set

Posting photos is all fine,
Yet when i try to upload a screenshot made by my ipad i get..... https://cimg1.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...1d438e867.jpeg i was aiming to post a photo of my room next to a photo taken as screenshot from the IHG-app to show readers the difference in reality vs marketing |
I can't upload any pictures. When I upload it gets stuck on 90%. Tried both Safari and Chrome. When I insert URL from IMGUR or DROPL it doesn't work either... Can you guys fix it? Thanks.

I have had no issues as of a few minutes ago. Have you tried clearing the cache and disabling any content filtering extensions? That solves most of my problems with FlyerTalk.

Unable to upload any photos - even though the images are JPEG exported from HEIC, FT is still stopping the upload by recognizing them as HEIC images which is incorrect. How difficult would it be for FT to enable HEIC as a file type given how prevalent these images are on smart phones
|
Ditto on iPhone XsMax struggles for photo upload
|
We have a fair amount of people advocating in the right places for HEIC to be accepted, but we're unfortunately not seeing a ton of movement on the project

Pictures simply won't upload today. After selecting the photo and clicking on "upload," I get a message to the effect that it will be inline, and then nothing happens.

Photo upload just won’t work today - sometimes, it works, but often, a photo gets to 50% and then the box disappears and you have to refresh the page and start the whole thing over.
I will have to stop posting until this gets fixed. |
I ran into this issue this morning (last night?) as well.

I will have to stop posting until this gets fixed. Please fix this ASAP. It took multiple attempts to successfully upload this screenshot. https://cimg1.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...db08c40272.png |
Encountering the same on the desktop (firefox), I thought it was just my laptop. In the end I had more success with upload files, but it still took a couple of attempts, the pictures option didn't work at all for me. Please do fix.

This happened to me a couple days ago, with symptoms similar to described above, so just providing a supporting data point: tried to upload 6 pictures at the same time, the first one went to 100%, at some point the 6th one disappeared entirely and then the entire window seemed stuck and had to force-reload the page to recover. After trying a couple more times with the same behavior and noticing the pattern, I uploaded the first 5 by themselves, then the 6th one and that worked, fortunately.
All 6 basically the same size/dimensions; Chrome browser on a Chromebook. |
|
Thanks, I'll do some testing later today.
|
Yep, seems to be working for me now. Thanks for the quick fix.

I'm having an issue where I'm not able to upload photos to a review I'm working on. When I hit add photos, it spins the loading circle for a few seconds and then goes away with nothing uploaded.
I can add phots to my albums, but I'm at a loss as to how to get photos attached to my review in order to post it. |
