Chrome causing "Aw, snap!" error

Since last night I'm unable to view FT in Chrome. I'm on the latest version of Chrome and now I get the "Aw, snap!" error from Chrome in the FT tab every time I load it. It seems that the page will load but once I start scrolling down the list of threads it errors out. Been doing it since last night. I have no extensions/plugins enabled in Chrome and nothing new in the app.

I am currently using FT through MS Edge and it's stable for the time being.

Chrome working fine for me. It could be an errant ad you are getting served but if you have not cleared cookies for FT that would probably be a sensible next step.

Now it's happening on both Chrome and Edge. Chrome worked last night and partially this morning but then the Aw, Snap error came back. I loaded the same forums in Edge and it, too, can't handle the page after a few seconds. It says "This page is having a problem" and goes blank. Edge is the browser I have set to delete everything upon exit (aka nothing, including cookies, gets saved). So this is not a Chrome issue but an FT issue.

I use Chrome and get the error occasionally but usually after leaving FT open and inactive for awhile or so it seems. Not a big deal I just reload it and it "snaps" back up.

I started having this issue about two weeks ago. The page will seemingly load. I'll start reading it. Then, after about 5 seconds, the page disappears with the following message. It happens in multiple forums and threads. To get around this, I have to hit refresh a few times until the error doesn't appear. It's very annoying. Has anyone found a solution?

Aw, Snap!

Error code: STATUS_BREAKPOINT

It feels like an error with an ad given the forum page otherwise loads.

All URLs to the forums I try cause the issue. Just opening this thread to read your reply required I refresh at least four times. https://www.flyertalk.com/forum/newr...ply&p=34416370

I'm using a laptop with Windows 10 Home, Chrome Version 103.0.5060.114 (Official Build) (64-bit).

I removed my browsing history and cookies already to see if that would work. No luck.

Does the same thing occur in Incognito browsing?

Not sure. However, all of a sudden, the issue stopped a few days ago. If it reoccurs, I'll try incognito and see what happens.

I've been seeing the same issue using Chrome on an Android tablet. It's sporadic and the page can usually be reloaded right away without the error.
