Time stamps based on which time zone?

A general query: When someone posts on a date at, say, 9pm, what time zone is this based on? It isn't clear to me. Thx everyone.

I'm pretty certain that what you see is your selected time zone (it's settable in the MyFlyerTalk, IIRC) but post timestamps are probably stored in UTC.

IOW, I'm posting this at 22:10 on 09/12, but if you're in NYC, for example, you'll see that I posted on 01:10 on 09/13. The timestamp on the post in the database is probably 05:10 UTC on 09/13 though.
