Issue with YouTube and other video links
I looked for an existing thread but couldn't find one. If there is and I just missed it then please merge.
I have noticed that recently the site adds url HTML code to YouTube links, rendering the post a text hyperlink rather than as a clickable still image of the video as has been the case for decades.
was this an intentional change or is it just glitch? If it is intentional, what was the reasoning behind the change and can we go back?

We're doing some updating of our embedding, so that's likely the reason.
How are you copy/pasting the links? Are they in the YouTube mobile truncated form? Just copy/pasting the above link right into the Full CKEditor, it creates a watchable video.
