There are certain forums where, let's say, I can't be logged in, and it is a miserable experience I can't think of any equal in my online browsing. Is the site owner trying to drive non-frequent visitors away? Because the Anyclip junk is a great way to do so. |

My guess is that nowadays a lot of the people who get referred to FT posts by FTers get such links while on their mobile devices; and then those non-members activate the links for viewing on their mobile devices. After such an unwelcome ad-related initial experience with FT, are such non-members more likely to join FT or otherwise lurk so as to perhaps help at another time or in another way? |
