Opening link in new tab not working

In any section of the website, click Search from the top blue bar. Hover over the Advanced Search link, hold Ctrl and click it.

Meant to open in a new tab, but opens in the same tab. Why is this? Other website sections work as expected.

Fyi, it works as it is supposed to for me.

Hopefully tech will have a better answer for you.

Are you in Chrome per chance? It doesn't work for me on Chrome on Mac OSX 10.13.3

Regardless, you might want to post your browser and operating system.
