What is the difference between Inside Flyer and FT?
With the current FT revamp, I noticed a reference to Inside Flyer in the tech forum. When I went to look at it, it appears to also be originated by Randy Peterson,
and run by IB. So what is it for? Seems to be similar fora, and same users. Wyh the duplication, or what is the difference?

Inside Flyer is not run by IB, or at least it wasn't the last I looked.
It is owned & operated by Randy Petersen and is a direct competitor to FT. It doesn't have nearly the traffic FT does.

I'm moving this to the Tech Forum, which might want you to point out the reference to Inside Flyer.

IF is not related to FT in any way. Where's that reference?

Someone mentioned it in the thread about the upgrade and how they were going to start posting there.

Some years later Randy started the Milepoint web site which later was rebranded as Inside Flyer (web site).
Inside Flyer was a (hard copy) magazine published for 28 years by Randy. Last hard copy issue 2015.
Inside Flyer is separate to FT. Some people post on both sites with the same screen name or a different screen name.

FT was started in 1998, owned & run by Randy for a long time. He sold it to IB in 2007

Thank you, Mwenenzi for the clarification on FlyerTalk and Inside Flyer history.
As this is not a technical or Feedback issue, we will close the discussion but leave it so others can find the historical data if they wish.
