It seems that if you want to use the [code] tag, you need to switch to the basic editor: see https://www.flyertalk.com/forum/29094969-post822.html.

Thanks Globaliser. How does that work?

If you paste the whole of the EF-generated code into the basic editor's text entry box, it will reproduce as intended because the tag still works there. For example:-

Go to Edit Options (either from the list to the left of MyFlyerTalk or from the Quick Links drop-down).

Go down to Miscellaneous Options.

In the first box, Message Editor Interface, use the drop-down to change to Basic Editor.

Go to the bottom of the page and Save Changes.

Many thanks. I thought I could change the view in the actual reply editor, that's why I didn't find it...

Edit: But now the editor is different than before (the update). I now need to know every code. I really don't like this update!!

Join the club! In over 15 years of involvement with FlyerTalk, this is the first time I have ever had cause for serious complaint about the way in which something has been implemented here. It seems notable that complaints have also come from a number of other long-time members, including some who hold positions in the FT hierarchy.

For me, that's now very difficult to use (although historically it has been my preference). In addition, IB has expressly said that it will no longer support the standard editor.

That's very sad indeed.

I can't use it either. So I'll go back to the advanced editor and not be able to provide any ExpertFlyer information anymore to fellow Flyertalkers due to the bug mentioned upthread. It's sad...

Is this FT's way of telling me my handle is too long?

Stutters on my 2017 iPad Pro too.

Experiencing the same

Well the good news is that they are listening to their users. <cough>.

Thank you for bringing back the ‘new posts’ shortcut in the mobile forum interface after it went MIA after the update.

column misalignment

The columns (Last Post; Threads; Posts) at the far right of a page do not always line up correctly.
(They were OK in the past.)
Will this be fixed?
