I and many others have reported this repeatedly and it has been repeatedly ignored. FT pegs my fans during normal browsing and when trying to browse as I typically do, opening multiple tabs at once, it grinds everything to a halt.

With ad and script blockers on it improves, but it is still a rather big resource drain for what is essentially a big white page.

Column width (Last Post) clearly being fine-tuned, but not quite there yet ... and "Manage Attachments" took over 30 seconds to load the page for functionality arrived. My Download speed is 69mbps, before you ask (Mac/Safari).

EDIT = Another attempted upload took nearly 5 minutes for the Manage attachments page to load.

Can verify this problem as well. Hilariously, uploading photos to show the bugs and glitches caused by this "upgrade" is a chore by itself because the manage attachments page takes forever to load, if it loads at all.

no longer can change font size in wikis
 
Since the FT layout change, I no longer can find a way to change font sizes when editing wikis.
Is there no longer a way to do this?

Can IB just turn off Infinite Scroll for the sake of bug fixing?

It cannot be any more obvious the default Infinite Scroll has complicated the debugging process this far. It appears that the [code] UBB tag is no longer supported, even if I create a post in "source" mode.

This CPU usage bug/feature seems to be caused by the scripts FT is loading from Sonobi.com.

When the new version went live, the "thread starter" message was reasonably discreet; it has changed to being highlighted as if someone is using a yellow highlighter; is there a way to disable colours or would it be possible to use a less obtrusive marking

I can still get it to work using the basic editor. But that was one of the reasons for switching back to the basic editor after experimenting with the WYSIWYG interfaces.

I think that the "uploading images to IB servers" issue can also be worked around by manually using the [img] tag too.

Agreed ... it seems counter-intuitive to have an image stuck on the screen and then have to scroll down to see what/why/where.

I also agree with this.

On the quick reply screen, the key sequence for posting is the same as before: TAB, ENTER.

However, the full-fat reply screen now requires TAB, TAB, ENTER. On its own, I'm sure I could get used to it. But there's an advantage to having a consistent key sequence between the two types of reply screen.

Thanks...I'll switch editors. Bizarre that even when manually editing the "source" in the WYSIWYGs it doesn't work.

As for the images, I know how to get around it myself. That doesn't solve the problem for others sharing things resulting in FT stealing content from creators.
