Some ways to reverse new features

1) Disabling infinite scroll:
  • Go to My FlyerTalk Control Panel
    • Edit options
      • Disable Infinite Scroll

2) Restore previous post editing options:
  • Go to My FlyerTalk Control Panel
    • Settings and Options
      • Miscellaneous Options
        • Message Editor Interface and select Standard Editor -- extra formatting controls (you may see odd behavior in this unsupported editor)

Still finding scrolling up and down really clunky.. like the screen freezes for a split second but continually so it comes across as very very clunky and annoying.

Infinite scroll it turned off.

You can do a temporary test of what they're asking without clearing the slate by opening a private/incognito window.

Also, check to see if your browser will let you search cookies, and delete FT ones either en-masse, or one-by-one to figure out which is the problem cookie to report back.

I have reproduced and reported the issue of photos auto-placing themselves on top of text. florens, I believe you first brought this to our attention.

I agree it is too big. That's something we'll look at fixing after some of these other bugs.

You took the post right out of my mouth. Totally Blah and less user friendly.

Thank you. I noticed on that page that the button to allow admins to email me was not checked. I'm sure that it was checked previously.

I might recommend sending an email to all users with a link to the options page advising them to review their settings.

Bugs will be fixed, and everything will run much more smoothly. At the moment, it just doesn't seem very fair or appropriate. I understand there are people who have already made up their minds in the negative, and that's totally fair; but for the rest, give us a chance to show you what this software actually is, please.

As to the way the was handled, IB got it wrong. There was a lack of internal communication here, and I'm correcting that. I deeply appreciate the passion of this community and I apologize for the way the poll was handled. We will do better.

Now, back to the bug tickets...

Best

Paul
With respect, I don't think this is something you're going to be able to fix by addressing bugs. It's broken way beyond that. My suggestion is that someone needs to step back and look at this from a higher level.

Sorry you feel that way. I have a pile of active tickets from what's been reported. Bugs are functions that are not working as designed. That's not the same thing as a complaint about something that is working as designed, and someone just doesn't like it. We are at this time not addressing those, as they are not bug reports, which is what has explicitly been requested here.

I strongly suggest that you wait and see what the site looks and acts like after we're done smoothing out the bugs; if there are things you don't like then, please use the Suggestion Box forum

Thanks

Paul

How do users learn which is which?

I have asked 2 questions whether something is a bug or deliberate (ie. WAD) - if you don't answer that then I don't know if it is supposed to work that way or not do I? It's nothing to do with whether I like it or not (I don't but that is not the point here)

So, for clarity, can you answer these:

Post reply is left justifying - bug or WAD?

Reply box - font size has been decreased (I may have said stupid small before which is what it is) - bug or WAD?
