FT issues: database / DB errors

FT is terribly slow (PC, Chrome) and unusable on mobile/safari. What's going on? I also had DB errors last night.

That seems to have been resolved overnight? I'm having no database errors with Chrome and Safari now.

(Unfortunately, FlyerTalk is by far the largest Internet forum running on vBulletin, so on occasion we have noticed temporary database errors / lag.)

It is working fine now, but I had issues all day from 5am to about 4pm CET.

Today, or yesterday? Both days I had no problems with tasks like merging threads, moving posts, etc. (operations most susceptible to database errors). How did these manifest themselves? Perhaps you can tell us more so Admin can check and let us know if they noticed any db issues.

I've had a few instances this AM where I got the db errors. Refreshed page, and it worked fine the 2nd time.

Yesterday, that is October 4th. On mobile (safari, IOS10) I was really unable to open any forums, it loaded forever, with 1 or 2 DB error messages when I tried later. On desktop (Windows 7, Chrome and IE) it was the same. Forums loaded forever, and sometimes I was able to load a thread but not able to reply for example. Interestingly, I was able to access threads that I had loaded the day before (probably saved in the cache).

If this loading error happens, please try to take and post a screen shot of the page -- a bad ad may be causing it.

Ads are hidden on my account (not an ad blocker, FT turned them off), so I don't know if it's related to ads.
