Notification?

I have started getting notification I can't find. I click on the notification link and see nothing.

This didn't use to happen.

I am probably doing something wrong. how can I find the mysterious notifications?

Notifications now list not only Private Messages, but also User Mentions and Quotes, at the bottom of the drop down menu.

Is there a way (either via a link or with a direct URL) to get to the quote notifications page after you've already looked at it? I've looked everywhere, but I can't find it. Clicking "Private Messages" near the top right corner only shows me Private Messages and I can't find any link to quote notifications.

Edit: Nevermind! Found it. For anyone else who might be looking for it, go into your profile and click on "Quotes".

If you just go to your own profile and click the "Quotes" tab on the far right, you should see them.

Thanks, I found it. But in my case the Quotes were not in a tab but in a window at the bottom of the profile page. The particular notifications were for quotes of old messages and were buried to or three pages deep in the quotes, with no obvious way to find the actual message which was referred to.

It would be great if the Notification link, next to the number of notification took the user to a simple list of all notification of all types. I think most users would expect that.

Thank you! I thought I had looked everywhere but obviously I missed this.
