Slow loading pages in Hilton forum

Odd experience... when I select a thread or a post in the Hilton forum, it takes up to 6 to 8 seconds to load.

In the DL forum, the loading is almost immediate.

Above experiences are at home with very high speed connection.

I have noticed this discrepancy repeatedly.

So, when I am trying to browse the Hilton forum, it's almost like I am stuck in a Hilton hotel room, using their wifi connection.

I've seen this sort of thing due to poorly constructed interest-based advertisements. Perhaps there is an ad that is triggered only on the Hilton pages and not other parts of the FT forum.

If that's a possibility, use the "Ad banner content" option on the Contact Us page and report it. That page is under the Help tab or here:

Have the same problem, some ads slow things down so much that I am even unable to type a post.

Using a different browser (in my case Microsoft Edge) helps.

Exclamation Thread Alert

The Technical Support and Feedback forum is actually a better place for this discussion, as that forum is monitored by the staff of Internet Brands, which will hopefully resolve this issue as soon as possible — so that forum is now the new home for this discussion.

Thank you for calling attention to the issue.

Regards,

Can you can see any commonality in which ads are being displayed on the page when you encounter the performance issue?
