Problems with scripts stopping on pages? PLS POST SCREEN SHOTS!
The title says it all. In the past few days, FT has been freezing up when trying to scroll down threads, and the error message is always the same. A script on the page has stopped working. Continue. Debug script. Stop script.
Sometimes waiting works, but often nothing does. I'm using Firefox with Windows 10. Everything is fully updated. Occasionally I have had this problem in the past, but not for a long time. Now it's happening every day. Is it just me or are others having this too?
Thanks for any help.

Didn't manage to post a screen shot, but this happened on this very thread when I started to scroll down it to look at the replies.
The problem is that any action seems to have no effect. You cannot go back. You cannot always close the error message box. The only button that does something is the Debug script button. The system freezes. Sometimes if you wait everything unfreezes, but often the only way to get out is to use Task Manager and shut down the browser.
Here's what's in the error message box:
The same message (with the same script listed) comes up on other threads in the United forum, but strangely not in the Trip Reports forum.
Edit: I cannot give you the complete script without the thing transforming into a URL link and replacing some of the text with an ellipsis. Simply add Http:// in front of the text quoted above.

When I got the 'script not responding' message, I clicked 'debug'. I have a screen grab of that, if you think it will help you. FWIW, it was pointing to the same line of code as before.
I have never posted a pic in FT before, so if you do want a copy of that first debug page, you'll have to walk me through it. I don't use any photo services, just have it on my laptop.

I just manually updated to an even more recent version of Firefox, and will see if this solves the problem.
I have a copy of my screenshot pasted into a Word document. If you can tell me how to transfer it from there to embed in a post here, that would be very useful. But basically I gave you all the error message info above.

Two data points:
(1) I have the impression that if you use the scroll wheel on the mouse, you can still navigate most of the time. The error message box stays there but you can scroll the thread behind it.
(2) Got a new error mssage just now, telling me that Shockwave Flash had stopped operating. I clicked on Stop script and carried on.... Is this what's behind it all?
I've just updated it (and avoided installing the ghastly Norton in the process), and will see if that changes anything.
Edit: And I am also noticing consistently that if you click to edit a post it spools for ever until you click the Edit button a second time.

I've received multiple script errors today on Firefox. This results in my post seemlingly repeating itself to the end of the page, but it actually does not. It happens after I submit a post.

Just another datapoint (and I now have Shockwave Flash updated in case that was it — clearly it wasn't):
This is the first thread I go to in FT each day. Today, it is freezing when scrolling (and then unfreezes) but no error messages are appearing for the first time. Just the freezing. I have noticed the freezing occurring all the time in the United Mileage Plus forum since I reported this problem, but never (so far) in the Trip Reports forum or the Community Buzz forum. Don't know if that's a clue.
Update: United forum almost impossible to use today with much freezing and yes, the script error messages have started again.

Using a Windows 10 phone viewing the forums, it completely freezes after 1-3 minutes; with or without scrolling or visible ads.
Then, after no activity for about 75 seconds, the page reloads.
