rollover feature for airport codes and other acronyms?

This is a great site. The biggest problem, at least for me, is that every time I visit, I end up having to open a new tab to Google various acronyms, whether for airport codes, airline codes, etc., etc.

A lot of sites have a feature that auto-detects text that matches a specific list of acronyms, words, phrases, etc., relevant to that site, and provides a small pop-up with a definition. Something like that would be incredible for this site. Just a thought. Thanks.

While not specifically built into Flyertalk itself, there is actually a way to accomplish this using addons for Chrome and (I think) Firefox. Start at post #12 in the following thread for the latest and greatest: http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/trave...de-lookup.html

Don't forget, if there are any other acronyms or terms you're unsure of, we have the FlyerTalk glossary.http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/glossary.php

Thanks. I use Safari and don't want to change browsers.

The Glossary is good, but always better not to have to leave a page.

Just bring it up in another page, no?

That's still leaving the page.

Again, it was just an idea. FT would be a lot more user-friendly if the acronym soup was easier to navigate and understand.
