Annoying problem with this forum (United Airlines | MileagePlus)
I've recently had big problems scrolling messages for this forum on my IPad (using Google Chrome). It's extremely slow with big delays. Sometimes it freezes entirely for 10 or 15 seconds.
This problems DOES NOT occur:
1) On the other Flyertalk forums I track
2) On Chrome on a Mac or PC
3) On Safari
I'm guessing it might have to do with the Explorer card ads.

Interesting.
I'm unable to replicate that on an iPad and an iPad Air II at all.
In fact, UA|MP and other fora loaded more rapidly for me using Chrome than Safari.
I'm thinking it's an advert, as a number are reported to have adverse effects in http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/techn...een-shots.html.
See if you can cop a screen shot and post it. And it might help tech when they're in on Monday if you provide your version numbers for chrome and iOS.
FlyerTalk recommends not using ad blockers: they bring their own problems, and by denying revenue create the dilemma of who pays for FlyerTalk. Member fees, anyone?
