It's not just you.
After reading a few threads this morning, I now have 29 "Eat normally and lose weight" and "Amazing Diet Patch" pop-ups on my desktop
Some of them may even fall foul of corporate porn filters - which may or may not be a good thing
e.g. http://www.media-ads.org/pops/Diet/6.../600x400_5.gif

Very simple. Free your mind and just get rid of Internet Explorer.

We don't allow pop ups, just unders, and those are supposed to be once per day (if you accept cookies). We've had our companies sneak in ads we've previously banned, but we've also just recently dropped one of our ad companies so let us know if you still get something like that.

Here is the best answer http://toolbar.google.com/
It not only gives you access to the google search engine from any page, it include a popup blocker. The best part is that the popup blocker can be set to ignore any website. So, when I go to the starwood site (spg.com) I get to see the 500 point bonus popup that shows up. When I am at other sites, the popups are blocked.
Give it a try. You will love it.

In 9 minutes of FTing this morning, I have TEN pop unders displayed.
I have cookies set to ALWAYS ALLOW for flyertalk.com
The ads are:
1. Expedia
2. Uni of PHX
3. Grocery Coupons
4. "Poll: Who Should be Governer of Cali?"
5. Autoweb
6. Cool Savings (various categories of coupons)
7. AT&T Wireless
8. USPS Stamps.com
9. Lavalife (singles matchmaking)
This happens every day now. Please feel free to correspond with me if you have any questions that can shed light on this.

It's possible that you're running some other software in the background that's doing this, as we've found some PC programs sneak that stuff in there (Gator, for instance). A lot of of the companies you mention above aren't being handled by our ad company.
The cookies that our ad company uses originate from tribalfusion.com, so add that one if you can.

I've notified our ad company about this...
UPDATE: Our ad company is checking their inventory to see if it's something on their end. They suggested, in the meantime, to check out http://pcpitstop.com/ for some free diagnostic apps that can test for spyware.
Thanks for your patience...

Can those of you that have experienced this problem contact us at [email protected]
Our ad company thinks there may be a problem with cookies from their servers, but they would like to speak (via email) with those of you that are having problems, in order to nail this down.

Today's guilty popunder (
) party is
createcard
I've killed it 102 times today in two sessions at my work computer. At home I can block them, so I guess I'll just have to stop logging on from work
.
Createcard is a UK offer presumably aimed at UK members, so won't appear on North American screens I hope.

It is not always spyware...after a brief tone down, the popups are back in full force. Culprits are US Airways, Expedia, U of Phoenix, AT&T, etc... I have no spyware, have run adaware...the only thing that I know will stop it is a pop up blocker, but I don't use one for personal reasons.
