A number of Community posts just vanished.
Was posting on one and got this message:
Sorry, we could not post your reply to this topic. Contact your bulletin board administrator and inform them that they may have may run out of available disk space. Their web host may be preventing them from posting new files.
Went back to Forum, and that post was gone, and was at LEAST one other I was to post on next, that was near top of forum.

Wow. Just went into the "Only Randy Petersen" forum and saw a CHUNK of seventeen once current "Community" threads have been moved direct there, with no trace on Community as to where they have been moved. Strange.
I agree virtually none had any place in Community, and it is surprising the 4 Mods allowed so many to spawn without drop-kicking them to 'OMNI' where they probably mostly belong with a note on end to please not start even more. However locking them in the usual way and moving to Randy's forum would have made clear to Community readers what was going on.
Just looked like another FT melt down to me, as the symptoms of that were identical .. here one minute, gone the next.

Randy posted an announcement that the "missing" threads were moved, by him, to the 'Only Randy Petersen' forum.
As far as diappearing post count, if mine implodes I'll assume it's because "OMNI doesn't count" or at least because the Word Association Thread has been disallowed.

Thanks gleff, yes had not seen Randy's note at top of the forum when I posted here ... as at that time it was NOT there! Was just rtrying to give Dan and John a heads up here in case FT was crumbling again .. that's how it looked so they might possibly nip it in the bud etc.
They all belonged in OMNI (or somewhere) many hours ago was my thought so I agree 100% with Randy's response.
I am alarmed at the recent rash of threads in this forum that seek to sponsor or create the apprearance of segregated "Do's." I'm sure some are in jest and we can all laugh at those, however, it is also apparent that some are taken with serious intent and that becomes a problem - especially for me.
Throughout my time with frequent flyer programs and with FlyerTalk, I have sought to provide an exchange of members of these programs that allowed me to communicate and exchange with members as diverse as markbach, oz, doc, travel4free, PremEx and Punki. That is exactly how FlyerTalk will continue. I will only continue to sponsor and offer FlyerTalk if it remains a true melting pot of members - of all miles, ages and interests in these programs.
As a result, I will remove these threads related to this topic to my personal forum 'Only Randy Petersen' and will allow them to continue and perhaps even amount to something, but I can't allow them to represent in FlyerTalk Community what I think flyerTalk is all about.
