Ads with POPUPS/POPUNDERS have to GO!

Ads by themselves are okay. But those ads that spawn additional windows via popups and popunders are bad, and the ones that spawn even MORE windows when I try to close those are just abysmal. It's so bad I may have to stop using flyertalk until those ads are removed from rotation.

PLEASE, OH PLEASE get rid of those unscrupulous ads and only utilize those that don't interfere with popups/popunders.

thanks.

Let I (among others) remind you that FT is free. And that this a way to re-coup just a small fraction of the cost. Further, it has been explained to us (and I agree with) that your individual profile will only get one pop-under a day. By profile that is one computer where your Internet browser settings are kept.

Just block the ads. It's not hard to do.

Why are these threads always started under technical issues? Are you having some sort of technical problem in which the ads aren't popping up properly?

Thanks, Robb. Really, this is not a tech issue, and the tech forum is not really the place to discuss ads -- unless a particular ad is causing a technical problem.

Pop unders that respawn others are a technical problem.

Not quite. Your point is taken but it is not a problem that I can resolve. My recommendation is that threads involving ads go to the Suggestions forum.
