Passwords not required for Chat?
I went to chat tonight and noticed that for the first time all I needed was my "nickname" to get in.
No password required.
IMHO this could be a dangerous thing:
*People can log in under ANY FLYERTALK IDENTITY Then under that name could do whatever... perhaps harm? LIke someone can go on as me and start attacking other people.
*People could log in with ANY NICKNAME even if you are not registered at Flyertalk. I was able to log in with the cats names, even as Santa Claus.
HOw do you all feel about this?
Personally, please Bring back the Password requirement
THank you.

IIRC last time they had a scheduled chat there were problems with the chat interface. As ScottC mentioned they were probably just checking the moderated chat interface and forgot to swtich it back.
