Just reporting that we recently (last few minutes or so) seem to have all lost the capability to edit our own posts.

Is this a designed change or just a glitch?

In my case, pretty important since I tend to make mistakes from time to time that need to be corrected - for everyone's sake. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif

I personally would like to see the ability to edit one's own posts re-instated, please.

At this time, I have not seen any official announcement by FlyerTalk concerning the removal of the ability to edit one's own posts.

Yeah, noticed it as well...

If people abuse the editing, why punish the rest of us....

I would bet that this is related to an upgrade of the software.

The front page of Miles has changed too.

Probably will be fixed on Monday.

Yep occuring "down under" as well. Hope it is just a techno quirk.

* UBB code
* When I mistakenly double-post (rare, but happens)
* Correct dead links when FT archives

My money is this being just a minor techno glitch that Dan will not look at until Monday CO time.
