closing a thread & moving it to a new forum-

Ok - maybe I really am dumb...lol

However, I closed a thread this morning in trip reports (from UALOneKplus about the SS office), and when I went to the archive/move function - it took me to the page where a drop down menu shows the forum choices to move to.

Anyway, I wanted to move the post to OMNI, but it was NOT listed.

Can anyone shed some light here for me?

Mahalo...;-)

OMNI isn't a choice in FT Miles...

You'll have to move it to FT Travel, where OMNI is present. To do this, click the "Move to Travel" link at the bottom of the Archive/Move page. Then select OMNI from the list...

Dan - I moved the post to OMNI, but it is closed. I tried to re-open it, but it will not allow me to do so.

Any advice?

:-)

When moving threads, don't close them first. The Move script will take care of that for you during the process...

The Close script is only if you want to close a thread, but keep it in place. I'll try and re-open the other thread for you...

Sorry for the confusion.

Did you manage to open the thread? I found it at Social Security office visit - like going to the airport and it seems to be open now...
