Everything seems to be working really well today!

Once again today I was thinking how smoothly everything has been running since the problems of last month, and thought I'd says thanks again.

It's a shame to only come and bother you when there's trouble!

And, of course, I've jinxed something with this post, as the Word Association Thread is currently showing as only having 74 pages on the main OMNI page, even though, it properly says there are 2500+ posts (s/b 103 pages and it is once you open it up).

This is coming and going, but when it happens, OMNI thinks it's under FlyerTalk Miles. It works OK if it thinks it's FlyerTalk Travel.

I just looked at the FT Travel OMNI thread list, and it shows as having 105 pages...

Is it still showing as 74 pages for you?

It only shows 74 pages for me when a bee is trying to have sex with a bird on my phone line. The bee stings the bird, the bird reacts by biting the wire, and all the bits for the last 31 pages spill onto the ground. I can't for the life of me figure out what the bee sees in it.

I'm seeing weirdness again today where clicking on a link in OMNI takes me to a page that doesn't gel with what was on the index page.

The above link takes me to an OMNI page that has the banner for FlyerTalk Miles in the upper left, and lists FlyerTalk Miles forums in the lower-right hand corner.

While the OMNI index page shows activity today on the second page of the thread, the above link takes me to a page that doesn't even have a second page (although I just realized, it does show today's post).

Any specific info I can give to help? Or is this just me and nobody else is getting stuff like this?

EDIT: I just got why the pages are off. FlyerTalk Travel is set to display 25 posts per page, while FlyerTalk Miles is set to display 35 posts per page. That explains why it interpreted the WAT as far fewer pages last time (as it was dividing the number of posts by 35 instead of 25). The post to which I linked above, is showing all of it's posts but it doesn't have a page 2 under FlyerTalk Miles rules, but does under FlyerTalk Travel, so the index page (Travel) shows 2 pages, but the Page 2 link goes nowhere because it tries to open the thread under Miles (1 Page).

Excellent troubleshooting... I'll adjust Travel to 35 posts per page and rebuild that Forum so that at least it and Miles will both show the same number of pages hopefully...

Our new servers will be in and we'll be moving both FlyerTalk and WebFlyer onto them this Wednesday, June 26th. We expect the move to be quick, but expect both FlyerTalk as well as WebFlyer to be down from 5am to 10am MT on that day. If we have everything moved over before 10am, well bring the sites up then.
