Kiwi Flyer,

It was not just you... for about 20 minutes it was taking forever to load pages....

Now it is working fine.

FT slow since today's scheduled maintenance?

I am finding FT slow since coming back online this afternoon.

Anyone else??

Same here, almost impossible to browse...

It is Super Slow.

It's been super slow for me. I timed how long it took to get to the reply screen after hitting reply - 45 seconds. To get new posts took 97.18 seconds.

I checked other sites to make sure it wasn't my DSL; it isn't. FT is my only slow site.

Only advantage: I've gotten work done vs. reading FT.

It's been horrible all day

It has been horrible all day. Like, go get a cup of coffee and start drinking it slow since this morning. Over 1 minute for each window to refresh. They need to fix this ... and quick!

It's slow here too... :(

It is slow -- and this is temporary.

We had to take one of the servers that supports flyertalk out of service for emergency maintenance and replace it with a machine that is not optimal for flyertalk's traffic. I'll be rebuilding the server in question tomorrow and will get it back into service as soon as possible.

Please bear with us and thanks for your patience.

Thanks for the update, John, and sorry about the overnight work. :(

Along with the slow response, I'm getting erratic multiple responses to threads - 8 for one post by missydarling for example, and 3 notifications each for a couple of other posts.

Thanks for getting FT back on early, and thanks for the update John ^

I dont know what we'd do without your (and everyone else at HOM) hard work :)

We're looking into that -- no solution yet, unfortunately.
