at my fifth attempt (more than an hour later this past night) to access the 'MilesBuzz' I noticed a pop-up-window for a VISA-whatever credit card. Could that be the problem?
It is now accessible (and fast) again.

FWIW,
I have a cable modem connection and for the last two hours the entire Web has been slow.
Could it be FT traffic?

PG and all, hello.
Please accpet my apologies for the inconvenince. I had to bring MilesBuzz! down in an attempt to fix a couple of the threads that it contains. It took much longer than anticipated. It's back up now but still very, very slow. It seems to be slow for many things on the web today so I'm hoping that it's not just our server. Please help me keep and eye on it and let me know if it doesn't right itself by early tomorrow moring.
Thank you all for your patience in this matter.

Did any of the posters here not pay attention to the 'announcement' that was posted on FlyerTalk that we would be taking MilesBuzz! down for some repair? I did and I'm sure others did. Because you failed to notice our notice does not mean we did not attempt to alert members of the board of such.

There was no announcement about AA, and that forum was down for at least 12 hours yesterday.

Randy: I have seen announcements posted from time to time but they haven't always corresponded to the extremely slow or down times. I'm getting timeouts on my browser waiting for pages to load fairly frequently. It's not just Buzz but other forums, too. (But most commonly happens on Buzz.)
This (and my earlier post this morning) is not meant to antagonize at all - just trying to help make you aware of problems so that you can address them when time allows.
