There has been some feedback regarding problems with FlyerTalk remembering your login information, which has caused some users to have to re-enter their information each time they try to post.

If you are being forced to enter your username and password each time you post or reply to a message, we ask that you try the following troubleshooting steps to remedy the situation:

1. Ensure that cookies are enabled on your browser.

Internet Explorer 5+ (on a PC)

1. Select "Tools" from the top menu bar.
2. Select "Internet Options" from the choices.
3. Click the "Security" tab at the top of the Options window.
4. Choose the "Medium" security level and click "Apply".

Netscape Communicator 4.7+ (on a PC)

1. Select "Edit" from the top menu bar.
2. Select "Preferences" from the choices.
3. Click the "Advanced" topic from the choices on the left.
4. Make sure "Accept All Cookies" is selected, then click "OK".

For other browsers and platforms, including AOL's browser, please refer to their documentation and help files for enabling cookies.

2. If cookies are already enabled on your browser, and you still have access problems, it may be that you have to remind the new FlyerTalk to store your cookies for a year on your browser. Otherwise, the information is erased each time you close your browser, for security reasons.

To have FlyerTalk remember your information for a year, do the following:

1. At the top of any forum page, click "Preferences".
2. Click the "Click here to delete all cookies set by this forum" link to have FlyerTalk delete any old cookies you may already have in place. After you have done this, return to the Preferences page using the link provided.
3. Make sure the option that says "Store Username & Password in browser memory for 1 year" is set to yes.
4. Click "Submit Preferences" to save.

Note: You'll still have to enter your login information one last time, by replying to a post, or starting one yourself, since you've cleared out your old cookies. But once you've done this, these new cookies should be now saved on your computer for a year, and you won't have to re-enter this information.

If you continue to have problems with FlyerTalk remembering your login information, please contact us at [email protected]

Thank you for your patience as we adjust to our new "home".
