a little confused

Often, I used to select the "new messages" feature and read a lot of the news about many airlines, hotel plans, etc.

Am I correct that now I need to go to several main forums?

And is it the same Buzz! or different Buzzes in the different places.

I'm having a bit of trouble getting used to the new layout and figuring out where I would post general questions.

Sylvia, thanking those behind the scenes for all the hard work, and for getting the site back up and running within the promised time frame.

Sylvia. For the purposes you have noted, nothing has changed. The 'Miles' board is 100% of what it was before so continue to clcik on today's active topics and you can read everything. The only change is that topics that were formally listed in 'General TravelTalk' (non-frequent flyer) are now located on the 'Travel' board. All the other forums are for things never on FlyerTalk, and can become your interest if you wish. But for good old frequent flyer topics, nothing has changed.

Hope this makes sense.

Thanks, Randy. I had overlooked the "active topics" link.

Now a happy camper <smile>.

So, to follow up on Randy's post, you will now be able to get both a list of todays active topics for the old, original FT board, now called "nFT" or "FT Miles" as you always previously could and also another list of todays active topics for the new FT Travel! You decide where to go, Miles, Travel, or both!
