Can't get into AA Chat
A bunch of us can't get into the chat. Is there a limit on the number of users tghat can log-in at once? If they're doing another drawing for miles, can I still be entered even though I couldn't get through?

dhacker, there wasn't a limit on the chat, it was DigiChat picking another perfect night to let us down. Two good chats in a row, and then another failure...
I was on with their tech support during the chat, and they could get in fine. I even saw them drop in... They couldn't offer any explanations since they couldn't duplicate the errors. I've been in contact with their higher ups this morning for some answers and I've been told that they did notice lag on their servers and that they're making changes to cause them to reboot every other night (instead of once a week) in order to clear out any lag.
Regardless on whether or not that solves anything, it's time to kick DC to the curb. I've put a halt on some projects I'm working on now in order to get another chat in place for next month's event with Hilton.
Russian roulette with three chambers loaded isn't a good model for chat technology
Whatever solution we pick as a replacement may not have all the niceties of our current chat, but we need to get a rock solid solution in place, then worry about bells & whistles...
I'm very sorry about the chat and the problems that occurred. It was completely unforeseen as the demo we had with Bruce the day before performed perfectly. No reason to think that it would conk out for the real thing...
