Double and triple posts

Lately it seems there have been an unusally high amount of double and triple, sometimes up to five, posts. Is there some technical problem or is this just impatient people pressing the keys too many times

I have three messages posted on Hilton - Fast Track to Gold - and hope that someone sees the two extra ones and deletes them. I did not hit the button more than once, but I found that I cannot delete my own messages, either. Is there anyone that you can contact quickly to get messages deleted?

No - deletion of posts was banned some times ago - as to many posts were deleted and too often later replies/postings were than 'lost'. Also, deleting the first post at that time, had the deletion of the whole topic with all subsequent postings as a consequence.

But you can edit your post by hitting the 'pencil' above your post and then delete everything and just leave a dot (the minimum dot is required, the system would not accept a total deletion of everything).
