Sorry it took me so long to get back with you guys. Is this still going on? I ask because I logged in earlier and everything seems to be fine with me. What kinds of errors are you guys getting? All the same or are there some variations here? I may have an idea as to what is going on.
Your feedback is greatly appreciated.

Michael,
I still am unable to log on. I get the error message "An unknown error occured while connecting to the digichat server. Please report the error to [email protected] . java.lang.Exception: HTTPservlet address not specified"
This happened all day yesterday and thus far twice this morning. I've pretty well given up accessing the chat site.

Come on Johnson, what'd you do to Live Chat?? I haven't been able to get in for the last week. Using IE 4.0... keep on getting the same message as others:
java.lang.Exception: HttpServlet address not specified

I'm still getting the same message as everyone else. I've received it using both IE 4 and IE 5.5. Any update on this yet? Thanks!

Hey wannabedoc (there's a new handle for ya!).... guess it was my magic touch... now you know why no one at work will allow me to get close to their computer
More likely they've banned all the trouble makers from chat (you, me, AnnaS). What can I say?

Here's the response I got from DigiChat:
We have received many such complaints over the past week or so. This
problem is related to the slow connection times between many of our users
and the chat hosting machines. The problem lies somewhere within Alter.net
and not with our host or the machines themselves. We have informed all
involved parties, and are working closely with our host provider, DellHost,
to isolate and resolve the problem. We hope to reach a quick and complete
resolution. Thank you for your patience. If you have any more questions
please let us know.

Brent,
This is almost identical to the response I received about a month ago. But, as you know, not much has changed since then.

I could access chat fine while everyone else was having problems, now I've been having problems the past 2 days. All yesterday evening, the chat applet would not load, and then it would load, but I'd get the httpservelet message like everyone else. Then about 10pm EST, it finally loaded correctly (albeit very slowly) and I could get into the chat. Judging from the others who showed up, they were having problems too. Now today, its not loading the applet again. Using Mozilla build 2001020808 under Redhat Linux 6.2, kernel 2.2.14, Java VM 1.3.0_01.
