deleted from your system
I registered with flyertalk over 18 months ago, but only posted every now and then. My most recent post was perhaps 2 months ago. When I went to post in late December, my user name and password weren't recognized. What's worse, the system said no one at my email had registered. I saved the email from when I registered, so I know my address and password were correct. I wrote to the webmaster, but it has been almost two weeks and no one has replied. I re-registered as a new member, but that means I lost "credit" for the few postings I made in the past.

FT is case sensitive... are you sure you were typing everything in in the same case as when you first logged on?
I had the same problem when I switched computers. Then I discovered that I had capitalized the K when I first signed up. Once I logged on using a capital K, everything worked fine.

Yes--I tried it both ways to be sure. The system did not even recognise the email address under which I registered. I still have the original registration email stored in my account. But thanks for replying.

mareh, I take it that you are using a different account to post here in this forum? This assumption is based upon the fact that you are able to post your feedback here, and if you were having problems with this particular account, then you wouldn't be able to do so...that's me, always stating the obvious.
Can you give me the "username" of the account that you are having problems with? If you are not inclined to post it in this forum, you may email it to me at [email protected] or at [email protected].
Once I have the relevant info I shall set about trying to discover the source of the problems that you are having and hopefully provide a solution for you.
I appreciate your patience in this matter.

Yes, if you scroll up to the top, it is in my original post that I did re-register. So I guess it doesn't matter now. My original name was shamrock. I was just wondering if you had started to delete people who hadn't posted recently, but from the responses I've received here, I guess it was a fluke. I have emailed you so you can look into it--maybe it will help someone else.
