frames sizing inconsistently?

I've had this happen a couple of times, so thought it perhaps worth of mention. Sometimes when I open a thread, the frames don't size appropriately and scrolling east to west is required to read all the text. However, other threads at same time will size correctly.

Example: Today I clicked on a thread found in the "In the News" Forum titled "BA 747..." and this one required scrolling. I then clicked on a thread in the "Hilton" Forum titled "Reward Discount Coupons..." and it sized correctly so that no left to right scrolling was required.

Any ideas why this would happen?

In my experience message frames size to your window unless they contain a URL that won't fit. In that case they size to the URL and you have to scroll horizontally.

I checked the thread you mentioned. It had a long URL referencing a Toronto Post article about eight posts down from the top, so I'm pretty sure that's what happened.

yes - Efrem is correct - (over-)long URL referencings influence the frame sizing.

As the one who posted that long Toronto STAR URL, my appologies. I too have noticed the variance from time to time in frame sizes.
