Netscape 6 and FT

I installed Netscape 6 (Mac OS 8.6- Powerbook G3) yesterday, and I am getting fonts of various sizes and kinds on the bulletin board. It's a mess.
This is not specific to FT, the PPrune BB does the same thing.
Input?

There have been many Netscape bugs & problems chronicled here over the past year. I'm a devout N'scape user, but finally gave up and only use IE to view FlyerTalk.

IE is quicker loading and I've never had any problems, much less the crashes and system 'hangs' that seem inherent with Netscape (any version).

I downloaded Netscape 6, and after hassling with it for better than an hour, uninstalled it and went back to using the older version. What a mess!

I tried it a few weeks ago, and then uninstalled it because I couldn't get the look to match what I was used to.

I guess it is still a beta.

Well this is not a beta, I agree the beta had released prematurely.
Netscape 6 actually loads faster than any browser I've ever seen, there is just a bug somewhere as far as these bulletin boards are concerned.

I did download Netscape 6 (Mac version) 10 days ago but gave up using it on FlyerTalk. So it was 'back' to my (otherwise unliked) MSExplorer.

I too just downloaded Netscape 6 for PC's. I'm pleased to say that I have no more problems with hanging while on FT, BUT I cannot open Netscape Messenger to read my e-mail, so have been forced to go in the "back door" with mailstart.com instead. Needless to say I am planning on uninstalling this version. And I should also mention that I'm finding it loads incredibly slowly too. It's not ready for prime time yet!
