Refresh timings - have they been changed?

In the past few days when I hit "back" on my browser all my lightbulbs are reset to the NEW current status....meaning I no longer can see what is new as of this logon (I hope that is understood ).

I got thinking...maybe some server refresh rates have been set lower...or some such thing (as a discussion popped up about this in another thread).

Michael...thoughts?!

I use IE5.5 and have the same problem. I even set my own internet options to never check for new pages and it still does the same thing. Most frustrating is it refreshes whenever I make a post. So I strted just looking at the times of the postings to see if there is anything new and pretty much ignore the lightbulbs for now. It's a little more hassle but it works.

Maybe it's a flaw in IE5.5 as I don't remember this problem with previous versions.

IE 5.5 with no problem - so far!

Yet, I've sometimes had some difficulty locking up when signing on for chat!

My experience is congruent with opus17's.
I'm using IE4.0.
