UBB settings suggestion to align things better!
Hi-
I enjoy using the board, however from my own experience setting up UBB scripts, I would like to make the following suggestion.
From the UBB control panel, go to General Settings, under Display Options in the Header field, place the following HTML code:
<center><table border=0 cellspacing=0 cellpadding=0 width="90%"><tr><td>
Then in the Footer field, place this:
</td></tr></table>
Make sure to incorporate this around any HTML code being used for images, and dont forget to update your threads and update the "Check here to restore style settings set in your overall Style Settings area" tick box in the Forum Settings area for all forums.
The result will keep all text, images and links evenly alinged with the table. You will notice it will clean up the general look to FlyerTalk very nicely
P.S. The "Bulletin Board" logo image should be a bit larger to provide more header room. Even though UBB suggests logo image should be 300 x 75 pixels, I would make it 300 x 125-130 instead?
Food for thought

Thank you for the advice 1k. The formating on the latest upgrade was one thing I hadn't gotten to yet. I had a great deal of trouble getting it into place and needed to make sure that all of the "functionality" was working first before I concentrated on the design aspects.
Nice advice however and I'll take it into account when I set to work on the look and feel.

Great!
Another hint: Even though users may like all the new smilies, reducing the amount available can help keep threads leaner and conserve disk space.

Michael-
When following the suggestions on my 1st post, also make sure that the Table Width % setting under the Style Settings area is set at 100%!, that way the board will auto size when displayed in 15",17",19" and up monitors as with resolutions of 640 x 480 and up!
