Working ok this AM for me now. Last night there was a url along the lines of the following that was one of the images or something from the adforce ads:
http://cw.cache.imgis.com.... that was the culprit, when I entered that url, i had the same problems of freezing up.

YES! Starting sunday late afternoon, all day Monday, intermitent on Tuesday morning. I've been on two separate networks - home and office, and the same problem both places - locking up repeatedly, not releasing the page. I use IE4.0 at the office, IE5.0 at home.

No problems for me. Using IE5.0 at both home and work. Home dial in through MCI internet and work through our network. Both computers are Intel Pentium II's running Windows 98 and 64 megs of ram.

Works fine with Netscape 4.61; Diners ad does not display.

Using IE 4.0, I lock up. At work, using IE 4.0, the Diners ad gets a Novell Border error. So something screwy with the port there. Maybe that's why.

Cheers,

'toad

Yeah, I'm having problems with locking up now. I can't get the whole url that is doing it, but at least part of it is: http://cw.cache.imgis.com/images

And as 'toad said, it's from the Diners Club ad. Hopefully this will post, as I'm partially locked again.

yes, yes, definitely having problems with the diners club sponsorship ad at http://fp.cache.imgis.com/images/Ad1...Sz12Sq1Id2.gif

yesterday and earlier in the day today, it would not load, so, of course, the browser stalls and the entire page won't load either.

(i'm running mac OS 8.5.1 with netscape 4.06)

Ok, now it's happening to me. My Netscape 4.7 locks up trying to load the Diners ad. IE 5.0 is working for me though. Might help to store the logo and link on the FlyerTalk server rather than linking it from another server.

For more than 30 minutes the link to the Diners-logo-server didn't work for me anymore - and now, just for this reply, I had to wait 40 seconds ...

Just to let you all know that I have an email in to our ad agency and will hopefully have this resolved very soon. Some good feedback here, very helpful in pining the problem down.

As to PremEx suggestion, thank you. I wish we could move the ads in house but that's not a possibility at this point in time.

I'll let you know when I have more. Thank you for your patience.
