No matter what I do or how many times I have killed and reset the preferences since this new system has started, they always reset on "5 days" back for topics, and there are never any red (new) things on the left. Any additional ideas?

First make sure you check "Yes" for the box "Store Username & Password in browser memory for 1 year (otherwise you will have to type your username and password once per browser session)".

If that is done and you still have problems. Go to the "delete cookies" line at the top of the page and get rid of all your old Flyer Talk cookies.

Once that is done, it should work.

Me too, I thought maybe I'm just the only one and there is something wrong with my browser. So I reinstalled it two, three times ... still don't work

This is even worst. Ever time I log on to FlyerTalk.com all the bulbs light up.
Sometimes they don't even DO light up.
I don't know If it's my browser's foult or not.

Please don't anyone here take responsibility for the problems that we are currently experiencing. I think all of this is on our end. We clearly have some bugs in the code for this bulletin board that we are trying to work out. Just be patient and we'll get them under control in due course.
