Why do I have to type in name/password?
I know I signed up for automatic username and password when I make a new post.
but when I make my FIRST new post, I have to manually type in the name and password.
It's no big deal but it seems strange.

this is in your hands Catman - just kill again (as some months ago already) your cookies (easy to do when you click on preferences) - afterwards set your preferences again.

Catman is this happening everytime you visit us? Or did it happen once and everything has been fine since that time?
I ask because it's a function of the programming in this board to expire the cookies after you have been with us for 1 year...I'm not sure why the creators of the software did it that way...I'm also aware that you have been with us for a year or better and I believe that this may be your problem.
Please keep me posted as to how this is going for you.

Some days when I open up the Respond window, I find I am already signed in. Other times, the UserName and Password fields are empty.
Also, in some cases, new Respond postings will appear immediately, and on other occasions it seems to take several minutes, or even hours, to be added.
Maybe this is in FAQ, but if it isn't, what gives?

I think my experience is consistent with Catman's, i.e. my sign-in information is only retained for the duration of the current session. I have not yet read the cookie information mentioned above.

Bryan, I'm still getting this "you need to enter user name and password."
I have rattled my cookies and it's fixed most programs but NOT here.
Do I need to re-register? Is Webflyer telling me my nine lives are up and I'm going to go the way of Nathan detroit and pjaucutt?
Just letting you know.
And Onefreeman, I too like Pepperide Farms Mint Milanos and Mrs. Field's Chocolate chip cookes.
