FlyerTalk technical problems...

As you can see we're back up!!! Sorry about all of the recent problems we've had. We believe we have it all under control now.

Unfortunately this latest technical issue has caused us to loose a small number of postings. So if you come across a missing post it wasn't due to censorship and please feel free to repost that topic or reply.

We would like to thank you all very much for your support and encouragement, you've all been wonderful.

And if you have any problems please let us know ASAP.

ThanX...
-Michael

Alas, not "all" of it, as I am forced to use this alter-ego. My NJDavid password no longer works, and is not recognized by the system.

So, I get to see what it's like to be a junior again.

At least I don't call myself formerly anything.

Please let me know if it can be fixed. Thanks

I'm having the same problem, but seeing that I can't use my same e-mail address, my registration must still be in there somewhere, my password just comes back invalid. Can you e-mail us our passwords?

My old password does not work either (and I suspect that it does not work for a lot of people).

And to think that a short while ago we were all berating the airline web sites.

Add me to the list... and as I wrote you "I WANT TO BE CATMAN AGAIN!"

I can't even add my regular e-mail to my profile. The old username and password shows up but I keep getting the message "You password is wrong" which I know it's not.

Was it something I said or did???

The same thing happened to me - leroy11 was changed to leroy. Click on "profile" at the top of the page. Once there, you can click on a link to have your user name and password e-mailed to you!

It looks like my account is still ok though. I believe that the administrator can add/change accounts. If anything they can delete the name so that you can go back and re-register as your old self.

They have dethroned the MileKing and regulated him to Junior Member status! This is almost as bad as riding in steerage!

My doctor has advised me that the withdrawal pains of being without FlyerTalk for a few days and the change in identity could have serious negative impacts on mileage balance.
