Blank space when reading threads [page margin rendition errors]

Each time I open a thread, I have a blank space on the right side of the page. If I go back to the main page that lists each thread in a sub-forum, the blank space disappears and it looks like normal.

Any thoughts?

When did this start?

Today is the first time I've seen it. Already tried clearing the cache, etc.

Just for kicks, I logged into FT on Safari and am seeing the same thing.

This is a function of being ads-free. You will either see ads in that right column, or you'll see white space.

I'm going to look into this a bit more.

If anyone else has recently (today?) noticed a change in how their ads-free display is happening, please chime in.

Pual

First time I've seen it (and I was one of the people who paid the $12 for Inside Flyer to get no ads). Not sure what changed between yesterday and today that is causing it.

Now that you mention it i am seeing more white space on the right hand side. I'm using Chrome on my PC based laptop . I really notice a difference when I'm on the Travel photography forum. Previously there where many of the photos were so wide it used to force me to use horizontal scroll bar to view pages properly. Although for me, there isn't a page that does not also have white space

This seems to be the same problem that is totally screwing up formatting on iPad so that the text is too tiny to read.

Add me to the list. Page display in MyFlyerTalk is fine. The layout is also normal on each forum page. Only thread displays are skewed.

I'm on an iPad and seeing this issue consistently in four different browsers

Let me know if you'd like me to email some screenshots.

As I just reported in the other thread, I'm seeing it too on an ipad2 with safari. However, mine looks different from post #7 above in that for me, I see a block with a different shade of blue on the upper right side of the page, starting about a half inch to the right of the dark lines delineating the right hand side of posts, etc.

ADDED: This box of darker turquoise is about one inch high and two inches wide on my ipad2 screen.

Also, as I said in the other thread, this is all from a lousy internet connection.

Just a minute ago, it was suddenly fixed for me on the DL forum but the problem reappeared when I came here.

False alarm or wishful thinking: The problem doesn't arise on a forum home page, but does come back when you try to read a thread.

I am not ad-free (except when I use AdBlockPlus, which is not all the time), and the right side of my page looks exactly like the image CDKing posted, including the small gray box immediately under the blue FT header.

I'm showing the exact same white margin and grey box artifact on the right of every page rendered on my iPad Air 2 using Safari.

I see this intermittentlywhen using Chrome on the same device.

The blank space now appears on the left and right side of threads.
