Does Flyertalk get a commission from ads at top of pages?

I am looking to open a United Airlines Chase card and I see the banner ad at the top of my Flyertalk pages quite frequently. Does Flyertalk get a commission on these like the bloggers do? I want to support Flyertalk because I spend a lot of time here.

IB / Internet Brands, which owns Flyertalk, undoubtedly gets a pay-per-clickthrough fee from advertisers who place banners on its sites. But IB will not get a commission, kickback, etc. as a result of your approved Chase card application.

IB is a very large and profitable corporation that also owns Apartment Ratings, CarsDirect, Loan.com, and dozens more sites. They might be happy to have you think FlyerTalk is a comfy little operation run out of somebody's dad's den that needs your "support," but IB is in no way needy.
