What is "Display Badge" in the FlyerTalk member profile?

What is "Display Badge" in the FlyerTalk member profile?
Badges 
I don't need no badges!
I don't need no dirty stinkin' badges!
Perchance, does anyone know what the "Display Badge" = No is in the FlyerTalk member profile "About Me" tab?
Display Badge showed up at the bottom of my profile a few weeks ago and I have no idea what it is. If I click on the editing pencil it does nothing except bring up a save/cancel button.

It's for the Faces of FlyerTalk feature. You have the option of showing your FOF badge or not.
