"Your PM box is 100% full"
I just noticed this message in the PM corner of the screen. Went to check, and apparently the size of the PM mailbox has (recently?) been lowered to 500.
I'll have to go through and winnow out, since I'm about 100 over the new limit. How long do I have to do this?
What happens (and when) if I don't reduce the number? I infer that I won't be able to send or receive until I do free up space, but will there be a mass deletion of messages over the limit? If so, how would that be decided (oldest ones deleted, or some other rule)?
Sorrry if this information is posted somewhere else, but a "search" didn't turn up anything.

That could be it, thanks. Yes, I had the "ad-free" deal but I didn't connect size of the PM box with that.
In any event, my subscription to Inside Flyer hasn't ended.

In the past, FlyerTalkers have been able to effectively "purchase" an ads-free browsing experience, along with a larger PM box, by subscribing to an online magazine unaffiliated with FlyerTalk.
As the existing subscriptions have expired, so too have these FlyerTalk benefits that came with it.

FWIW, Inside Flyer subscription has nothing to do with the current owner of FT for a couple of years:
However, when one buys a business, one usually is bound by any contracts or agreements similar to contracts that were entered into by former management/owners, until they're completed or changed. Last I heard, that hadn't been changed (not to say it couldn't be), but if it isn't changed, I am still upholding my commitment, and expect what I was promised.
If it has been changed, fine; I need to know what the transition plan is as to the size of the PM mailbox.
Thanks.
Edited to add: Just now the notation went off. I note on the "Ads" thread IBcash has reinstated the 2,500 size limit for me.
Thanks!!
