Just pull up the thread from the FT archives using the URL below:
http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/archive/t-9999999.html
where 99999 = the thread number, this thread for example is 1344995, as you can see from the URL.

Thank you! Unfortunately, however, this still breaks it into pages. The thread I'm trying to look at (930922) *does* shrink from 470+ pages (at 40 posts per page) to 76 but still very time consuming if I want to print the entire thing to read offline. :-/

The airline execs I know who have spend time reading the thread chuckle at how extensively the tricks (that any decent TA knows but dares not employ for fear of being slapped with debit memos) are draped.

There are a few threads in the BAEC forum where posters are encouraged to share experences so that they can be curated to the Wiki post. I'd like to use vBulletin's thread archive display to assist with this by parsing the "bare" text of this one: http://www.flyertalk.com/forums/arch...t-1812067.html.
It looks like the "simple view of threads" is set of "Off", although the simple view of fora does work. Is there a way I can get this style of output as a registered (and trusted
) participant?

AIUI vBulletin can give me a bare text version of the thread, which would be a great starting point. But it looks like the feature that would do that is disabled, unless I'm doing something wrong.

Not top secret at all, but very thread specific to extract the city pair, cabins (original and upgraded) and price.
If we look at a couple of the posts there:
Then they would respectively become:
LAX-LHR CW-F USD496
YYZ-LHR CW-F C$650
LHR-MUC ET-CE GBP99
and that would go into the Wiki (by my manual editing).

I can't really give you a text feed of the post easily, but we could probably automate this somehow by building a widget on top of the thread that scans posts with your logic and adds to this "City pair" widget automatically. It can be active only in specific forum's threads.
