Flyertal ads

Anyone else having the problem of the Flyertalk ads that appear in the
3rd post of any thread covering up the right side 3rd/4th posts, and not being able to read those posts? I recall this happening some years ago,
then it was fixed, but I am having this problem today?

Probably the wrong forum, but yes I am having the same problem using Internet Explorer. I have to use Opera if I want to see the entire post.

Just to get in my 2 cents worth before this is shut down, it is mighty annoying and hardly an incentive to use the advertised products when the ads are blocking the reason we come to the forum in the first place. On that other tech forum (to where it was moved when someone started up comment on Community), many posters pointed out that making money from ads was how FT keeps going. I accept that, but blocking the FT content with no way to close the ad seems to be counter productive.

I spend the princely sum of $12/yr for an ad-free FT experience. ^

This supports FT, and works on any computer I use - home, work, away. @:-)

+1

And driving people to adopt tools that let them block ads so that they can read content is an extremely stupid thing for a community site to do.
