Angry Firefox + FT = GRRR!

It seems that like every 4th time that I post a thread on FT, I get the dreaded Mozilla Firefox "sponsored ad" in a window shows up (with nothing else) followed by a perpetual wait? Yes, I love firefox, but this is becoming a problem. I keep myself updated, but why does FT not work 100% with Mozilla's browser?

I also use FireFox (3.6.3), but don't have that problem. Might you have some spyware or something?

Same for me... OP, do you have AdBlockPlus installed? If not, I'd try it to see if that ad still comes up.

another vote for adblockplus ^ and fwiw, check the settings/preferences once you install it to make sure that ads from "doubleclick"* are blocked. i can't remember if it's part of the default settings or not but i see no ads using firefox and ....... plus

*i also use safari with "safari ......." installed but about a month ago, i had to add "doubleclick" the the list of blocked ads as ads started showing up but as soon as i added doubleclick to the list, no more ads

I have been informed this is not an advertising issue but a problem with quick reply. I don't have an eta on the fix but as soon as I do I will update this thread.
