i REALLY dont like that it is auto clicking / redirecting.
something keeps appearing in my history, even though im not clicking on anything.
this - http://mc8tdi0ripmbpds25eboaupdulrit...ken=1934965686
would also be nice not to have it there on every screen all the time.

Oh joy. You've just made the concept of surfing Flyertalk from work an absolute pain. Unsurprisingly, Facebook is blocked by our office firewalls. As such, every time I navigate to a new page on Flyertalk, I'm now confronted by a log in box for my corporate firewall proxy, which I have to then navigate out of. As such, moving between pages, posting etc is now slow.

Get IE7 Pro with ad blocker. All I see is the text in a small space and nothing more.
But I can tell you that most corporate firewalls block facebook and mine is no exception. There is no way I will link my 2 accounts together.
In other words, this is a useless enhancement, I would bet, for most people.

Query why those who essentially make a website what it is should need to make modifications on their own side of an interface so that they may feel comfortable in continuing to contribute to said website?

In FF we can get rid of the whole thing, if you don't mind using FF. (Perhaps there is an IE7 method too.)
